An event was organised at Tapan Rehabilitation Institute. On this occasion, Rs. 5 lakhs were given by Abro India for a multipurpose hall in Tapan Rehabilitation. Simultaneously, a new batch of sewing centres was inaugurated and on completion of the first sewing centre run by Abro India, certificates and sewing machines were distributed to the students. Chief Human Resource Officer Yash Pal Singh arrived as the Chief Guest at the event. Yash Pal Singh said that Divyang is an equal partner in the society and just like every human being has some or the other strength and some weakness, your strength is that whatever you do, you do it with a big heart. He said that persons with disabilities should not be looked upon with compassion in society.
They need cooperation and respect. He said that we should establish a society where even a disabled person can live like a common man. On this occasion, the founder of Tapan, Dr. Sujata, Human Resource Officer Satish Kumar, Advocate Narender Sukhan, Sewing Center teacher Sudesh Vrita were present.
