Bank of Baroda, Chandigarh Region, making people aware about cleanliness

CHANDIGARH: Bank of Baroda has always been fully committed to balancing business and contributing to the society by fulfilling its community obligations. Along with this, Bank of Baroda is also completely dedicated towards clean/green India. With this objective, the Bank is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada from 16th to 31st January. Under this a blood donation camp was organized. A free health checkup camp was organized in which approx. 300 beneficiaries were present. Cleaning kits were distributed to around 300 families on the occasion.


On 24.01.2023 the staff members of Bank of Baroda, under the leadership of Zonal Head Mr. Vimal Kumar Negi, marched from Sukhna Lake to Rock Garden to spread awareness about cleanliness in the society and to explain the importance of cleanliness. The staff members gave the message of cleanliness to the people by forming a human chain.


On this occasion, the Zonal Chief while addressing the people present said that Bank of Baroda is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada on the theme of 3H i.e. Hygiene, Health and Happiness. He said that If there is greenery then health will be good. If physical and mental health is good then the result of our work will also be good and our happiness is linked with this.


Making people aware, he said that we should promote tree plantation and stop the use of plastic. Regional head Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yadav said that the bank is conducting this foot march today with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of cleanliness under Swachhta Pakhwada till January 31st 2023, drawing competition, webinars and seminars on the subject of cleanliness and health will be organized in educational institutions.


Bank of Baroda has always been conscious of cleanliness and taken up the cause of Green India.The bank has always shown its commitment towards a greener India and will remain dedicated to fulfilling such community obligations in the future as well.
