Himachal Pradesh High Court on its own motion took suo moto cognizance of the death of 12-year-old boy Advik, who died at Paragliding Site in Himachal Pradesh.
Converting the matter into a Public Interest Litigation, the Division bench of Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan and Justice Satyen Vaidya said that a media house highlighted the incident recently expressing grief over the unfortunate death of the 12 year old boy who had come to visit the state from Bengaluru along with his parents and younger sister.
The High Court in a 14- page order passed on Jan 17, said that the state has always been a much sought after tourist destination.
