Over 100 benefitted at free medical camp organized by Hockey J&K

More than 100 people including players, coaches, trainers benefitted at a free ayurvedic medical camp organized by the Hockey Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu and J&K Sports Council here on Thursday.

The camp was inaugurated by Rajeev Sharma, President Hockey J&K in the presence of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Office J&K Sports Council as a guest of honor at K K Hakku Astro Turf Stadium.

Around 122 people from different sports faculties benefitted during the camp.

 



Sharma in his address said that during the last spell of Covid pandemic, Hockey J&K organized such camps for the benefit of the sporting community and similar camp has been organized yet again in view of third wave of the Covid pandemic.

Ashok Singh Jamwal lauded the hockey Association stating that it is pioneering in many ways to support the sportspersons and coaches.

Dr. Taran Singh, Secretary General said that this time Govt. is all out to help the people to fight the Covid infection.


He said that Dr Mohan Singh, Director AYUSH J&K took many steps to reach the doorsteps of the community to provide instant relief to masses with the assistance of the teams framed.

Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation (Regd) gave away the certificates of appreciation to the doctors for their services during the pandemic.

Moreover, immunity boosting kits were also distributed among the coaches, players and the staff of the Sports Council.
