Developing skills in the youth will pave the way for the nation to move forward: Minister Mool Chand Sharma

Kurukshetra: Haryana Government's Transport and Higher Education Cabinet Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that at present India is a young country in the whole world and Indians occupy high positions in the world including education, business and politics. Indian youth is in demand in every field all over the world.

 

He said that no work is small or big and only by developing skills in the youth, the nation can be paved for progress. He was speaking as chief guest at a two-day international conference on 'India, 2.0, Vision for India 2047: Challenges and Opportunities' organized by Kurukshetra University's IIHS on Wednesday under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.Mool Chand Sharma also released a book entitled “Igniting, 37 Crore Growth Engine” written by Director (Expenditure), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Dr. Shivalli Chauhan.

 

All India co-organizer of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Satish Kumar said that if any person, organization or organization has to progress, then it should have a clear goal. The goal always motivates the person to move forward, so it is necessary that the goal of the person, institution or country should be big and clear. Thinking has started regarding India's goal of 2047, it is not the work of the government or university, but there is a need to collectively work on this thinking and goal with the energy and team work of the entire country.

 

residing over the program on this occasion, Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University said that the road map of India of 2047 has been prepared by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in which 37 crore youth of the country will have to contribute significantly in building a developed country by becoming growth engines. He said that the goal is to increase the per capita income, for this GD growth has to be increased. For this, employment will have to be given to the youth, for which the National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented in the entire country.

 

Director (Expenditure), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Dr. Shivalli Chauhan said that it is because of this university that he is at this stage today. He told about his book “Igniting, 37 Crore Growth Engine” that it has a total of 6 chapters in which the nutrition problem including skill, education, health has been discussed.

 

Along with this, the stories of its young entrepreneurs have also been included, the aim of which is to inspire the youth and prepare them for the development contribution to the progress of the country. In this, emphasis has also been laid on improving the status of women in the society.
