Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her American partner Rajeev Ram bowed out of Australian Open, after suffering a loss in the hands of Australian pair of Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler on Tuesday. The Indo-American duo went down 4-6, 6-7 (5-7) to the wild card Australian pair in the mixed doubles quarterfinal match.
The duo entered quarterfinal on the back of their 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 second-round win over Australia's Ellen Perez and Netherlands' Matwe Middlekoop on Sunday. Mirza and Ram in the opening round defeated Serbian pair of Aleksandra Krunic and Nicola Cacic.
