Ludhiana: Govt School students have shone in Matric board exams, bringing laurels to Ludhiana district and their respective schools . Three students of Govt Senior Secondary Schools, Ajitsar , Raikot have bagged 5th; 9th and 13th positions in the state merit list of matric board exams which were declared on Friday.
Principal Sonika Jain of Ajitsar School has lauded the dedicated efforts of the teaching fraternity, parents and students .
Sharing details about these incredible achievements; Mrs Jain told Babushahi that Kiranjeet Kaur d/o Manjit Singh, had secured 5th position in Punjab, 1st position overall in Ludhiana securing 643/650, 98.92% marks. Amanjot Kaur d/o Gobind Singh, has got 9th position in Punjab, 4th in Ludhiana, 639/650, getting 98% marks and Vandini Kumari d/o Dinesh Shah, has secured 13 th spot in Punjab, 635/650, getting 97.69% score , she added.
Mr Harjit singh DEO has expressed jubilation at the outcome of matric exam results and the merit positions captured by Govt schools of Ludhiana . “Govt schools have proved their mettle in quality education “he added.
