Minister Nijjar inaugurates road from Bhaktanwala to Mulechak

Chandigarh: The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to providing basic facilities to the people of the state. To fulfill this objective, the government has introduced the facility of Aam Aadmi Clinics for the state's residents.

Additionally, efforts have been made to improve the infrastructure of government schools and create new employment opportunities. Over the course of its 14-month tenure, the government has successfully provided more than 27,000 government jobs to the youth.

These words were expressed by Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Minister of Local Government, Punjab, after inaugurating the new road from Bhaktanwala to the village of Mulechak, which will be built for 70 lakh rupees.

Dr Nijjar stated that this road had been in a very bad condition for a long time, causing significant difficulties for the residents, especially during rainy days. He mentioned that the construction of this road would provide immense relief to the general public.

On this occasion, the residents of the area expressed their gratitude to the minister, stating that they had been suffering from the poor condition of this road for many years. They believed that the construction of this road would greatly alleviate their difficulties.

Subsequently, Dr. Nijjar also reviewed the ongoing development works at Skatri Bagh. He instructed the relevant officials to complete the development work within the designated timeframe, emphasizing that no debris or soil should be left around the roads during the process.

He stressed that no negligence would be tolerated in the development work and that the quality of the work should be ensured.

Dr. Nijjar emphasized that the funds allocated for these development works belong to the common people and should be utilized appropriately.

During the event, Constituency Central MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, OSD Mr. Manpreet Singh, SDO Mr. Sandeep Singh, and officials from the Nagar Improvement Trust were also present.
