Chandigarh: Around 200 members from the Muslim Community, the majority of females joined the BJP Under the leadership of Naaz Rana in the presence of state BJP President Arun Sood at Mauli Jagran. Arun Sood welcomed all of them with saffron Bjp robes.
Addressing them Arun Sood said, that Congress & other so-called secular political parties have used the Muslim Community as their vote bank & did very little for their upliftment. Social, economic & educational conditions of Muslims deteriorated under Congress governments.

Today due to many welfare programmes for women by the Modi Govt, like Ujjwala Yojna, Jandhan Yojna, PM Mahila Awas Yojna, Har Ghar Shauchalya, Teen Talak, etc., many Muslim women from rural areas are joining BJP. BJP has brought many programs for the upliftment of weaker sections of society. Today Uttar Pradesh is a riot-free state.
Sood said the Vishvakarma Yojna launched last week by the Prime Minister will greatly benefit Muslim Artisans & skilled workers in the country.
The Muslim community should not believe in the fake propaganda of Congress regarding BJP & should idolize great Indian scientists & former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam whom BJP made President of India despite opposition from the Congress party.
Councillor Manoj Sonkar, Councillor Umesh Ghai, Devi Singh & Arvind Singh too were present at the occasion.
