Rajwant Kaur joins Aam Aadmi Party Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party has started a volunteer campaign in Chandigarh with an aim to strengthen the party in Chandigarh, in order to achieve aim meetings are being held with volunteers by the party coordinators in all the wards of the city.


Independent candidate from Ward No 1, Chandigarh Rajwant Kaur joined AAP during a meeting organized under the leadership of Coordinator Subhash Sharma in village Khudda Lahaura. During the meeting Chairman Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and co-in-charge Chandigarh Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia specially attended the meeting.


On the occasion, Rajwant Kaur, who contested the MC elections in 2021 as an independent candidate from Ward No. 1 joined the Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of Dr. Ahluwalia.


Rajwant Kaur said that she is very impressed by the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party. The party has done large-scale development work in Delhi and Punjab in the past and hope for same in Chandigarh.


On the occasion, Ward no. 1 Councilor Jaswinder Kaur thanked everyone and added that they are solving all the problems of the people of their ward on priority basis and assured that they are fully committed to solve the problems of the ward residents.


Dr. Ahluwalia welcomed Rajwant Kaur, who joined the party on this occasion, with a siropa and said that the Aam Aadmi Party will give full respect to Rajwant Kaur. He said that Aam Aadmi Party has done a lot of public welfare work in Delhi and Punjab. Many of the guarantees that the party had given to the public during the elections have been fulfilled. Impressed by the work of the party, today the common people are joining the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that the people of Chandigarh have now become aware. In the coming Lok Sabha elections, the people of Chandigarh will drive out the old parties from here and give a chance to the Aam Aadmi Party. Apart from Jagpal Singh, Gurmail Singh, Charanjit Kaur and Nachhatar Singh, a large number of party volunteers were present on this occasions.
