Chandigarh: Prof. Baldev Setia, Director of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, has been adjudged for the 'ISH Jal Vigyan Puraskar' as the 'BEST Paper in ISH Journal' for the year 2023.
He is the co-author of the paper titled, ''Scour Protection around Bridge Pier and two-piers-in-tandem Arrangement''.
The Award Committee and The Executive Council of The Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH), chaired by Dr. R.S. Kankara, ISH President; announced the recipient of the 'ISH Jal Vigyan Puraskar' to be awarded during the inaugural session of the Hydro-2023 Conference on 21st December, 2023 at NIT, Warangal.
The award carries a certificate for each author, a token cash prize of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand), and a Trophy, which will be given in the award ceremony during the inaugural session of the HYDRO 2023 conference.
