Haryana Staff Selection Commission lost its credibility; Govt should dissolve it-Kumar Selja

February 12, 2024 10:41 AM

Chandigarh : The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and former Union Minister Kumari Selja said that the Punjab and Haryana High Court has made adverse comments on the recent recruitments of Group C.

The High Court has clearly said that neither the applicants nor the court trusts the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) anymore. In such a scenario, the BJP-JJP alliance government should immediately dissolve the discredited HSSC.

In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that controversies have surrounded the Group C recruitments since the beginning. Reading the irregularities and changes in the process, educated unemployed youth have sought refuge in the High Court in the hope of justice.

However, the BJP-JJP alliance government has become arbitrary. Therefore, within a few hours of removing the stay from the court, the result of the recruitment exam was announced.

The former Union Minister Selja said that this indicates that the lists were already prepared. A conspiracy was hatched to provide jobs to the favourites of the RSS and BJP through nepotism and expenses.

To silence any voice against this arbitrariness, recruitments are being conducted without character verification. Instead of conducting them in district hospitals with strict adherence to rules, they are being conducted only in government hospitals of Panchkula.

Kumari Selja said that whenever youth go to the High Court against the black deeds of HSSC, the Chief Minister starts calling them recruitment-blocking gangs because they are badly exposed before the court.

To some extent, their arbitrariness is controlled, but later they again get involved in trying to sell jobs in a new guise.

Therefore, the High Court has asked the state government to form a committee under the chairmanship of a retired High Court judge. It is clear from the filing of petitions in the High Court against thousands of Group C recruitments within just 2 days that there have been large-scale irregularities in the HSSC.

By maintaining silence on the entire episode of the state government, it seems that everything is going on with the collusion and protection of people sitting in the government.

Therefore, efforts are made to mislead the High Court to save those sitting in the HSSC, and even there, lies are told publicly. Due to the dictatorship of the BJP government, every class is distressed today, and if the government's policy is not stopped, it can certainly end democracy.
