Royal Enfield launches all-new Classic 350 motorcycle

Chandigarh, Royal Enfield, the global leader in the middleweight motorcycle segment from 250-750cc, launched the highly anticipated all-new Classic 350 here on Thursday for the upper North market in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Anuj Dua, Brand Manager- Classic, Royal Enfield, said “Traditionally, Chandigarh and Punjab have been hugely important markets for Royal Enfield and we continue to enjoy immense equity in the region. Royal Enfield boasts of 80 per cent market share in the 150cc and above category in Punjab, of which Classic is one of every four motorcycles sold, a significant 25 per cent of category volume. With its styling and reborn look we are confident that our consumers will welcome the all-new Classic 350."
Powered by the modern, globally appreciated 349cc air-oil cooled single-cylinder engine, launched recently on the Meteor, the all-new Classic 350 comes with crisp and smooth gear shifting with optimised 5-speed gearbox, balancer shaft for cutting down the vibrations, he said while elaborating the features and added that the Classic generates a power of 20.2 bhp at 61500rpm and a torque of 27Nm at 4000rpm, resulting in a strong low-end grunt and super smooth linear power delivery across the band, making the ride enjoyable and effortless.
Replying to a question, he said that the company has sold over 30 lakh Classic350 across 75 countries globally ever since it was launched in the year 2008. However, the company faced heat in sales during the last two bouts of Covid19 in India and abroad, he added.
Designed and developed by talented teams of designers and engineers based at Royal Enfield’s two state-of-the-art technology centres, in India and the United Kingdom, special care has been paid to ensure a superlative ride. The new Classic 350 will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,84,374 for the Redditch series, Rs 1,93,123 for the Halcyon series Rs 2,04,367 for the Classic Signals Rs 2,11,465 for the Dark Series and Rs 2,15,118 for the Classic Chrome(ex-showroom, Chandigarh).
