Kashmir's culture and language has developed after abrogation of Article 370: Shah

March 29, 2024 06:45 AM

Chandigarh, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah, during an interview with Gulistan News, elaborated on issues and politics related to Jammu and Kashmir, making it clear to the nation that 'after the removal of Article 370, there has been development in the culture and language of Kashmir.'

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took the historic step on August 5, 2019, to abrogate Article 370 and made Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India forever. For decades after independence, Article 370 was a scourge for Jammu and Kashmir, which promoted terrorism and separatism. No government paid attention to it, resulting in thousands of deaths in Jammu and Kashmir. Today, it has been proven that dynastic parties like Congress, National Congress, and PDP have always hindered the spread of democracy at the grassroots level in Jammu and Kashmir.

The wrong interpretation of Article 370's abolition was given to the people of the valley. It was spread as a misconception that after the removal of Article 370, Kashmiri culture, language, and existence would be endangered. Five years have passed since the removal of Article 370, but nothing of the kind has happened. Today, the importance of the Kashmiri language and cuisine culture has increased, and tourists have started coming to tourist destinations in Kashmir. It was also said that millions of people would come to Kashmir, which would endanger the existence of ‘Kashmiriyat’, but that myth has also been shattered today. Amit Shah's decision to revoke Article 370 has trapped three families, and today, Jammu and Kashmir, which was trapped, is breathing in the era of freedom.

The people of the country now know that under the Modi-Shah regime, a new India is being built where everyone can happily follow their culture and language without any provision like Article 370. After 33 years, people of Jammu and Kashmir are watching movies in cinemas at night, after 30 years, a Muharram procession has been taken out, and through the G20 Summit, people from all over the world have seen changes in Kashmir. Today, Jammu and Kashmir is progressing on the path of development, terrorism is being eradicated, and stone-pelting has completely stopped. Today, the people of Jammu and Kashmir, away from the clutches of terrorism, are participating in initiatives like hoisting the flag in every household or at Lal Chowk, standing with the rest of the country. More than 4.5 lakh devotees have visited the Amarnath Temple, and more than 2 crore tourists have visited Jammu and Kashmir, and Formula 4 car racing has been held in Srinagar. Youth are getting employment, and every section is benefiting from its share.

By emerging as the fifth-largest economy in the world, India has gained a new identity on the global stage today. In the last 10 years, the people of the country have seen a huge change. Along with this, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen the real face of all three dynastic parties. The festival of democracy in India, i.e., the Lok Sabha elections, is also near. In such a situation, there is no doubt that this time, by showing the way out to dynastic parties like Congress, National Congress, and PDP, the people of Jammu and Kashmir will work to bring lotus into bloom. The Chanakya of Indian politics, Amit Shah’s claims that Modi's victory on more than 370 seats will make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister, is set to be proven right.
