Don't be misled by the propaganda-SAD to Dimpy Dhillon as he tenders his resignation

August 26, 2024 10:56 AM

Chandigarh : Following the resignation of senior SAD leader and Gidderbaha in-charge Hardeep Singh Dimpl Dhillon from the party, SAD Spokesman Dr Daljit S Cheema clarified that the party has no intention to bring any leader from any other party into SAD in Giddarbaha to field him as a candidate.

"Neither party has discussed such a move with anybody. Such news is totally false & baseless. The party fully depended on, trusted & supported Mr Dimpi Dhillon for the coming bye election. The party urged him not to be misled by the propaganda being unleashed by forces that are hell-bent on damaging SAD," said

Dr Cheema said that the Party President S Sukhbir Badal has openly advocated in the party meetings that Dimpi Dhillon is our best candidate.

"He even discussed this in detail with the party's newly constituted Parliamentary Board. The SAD President has been constantly campaigning in Giddarbaha as per the programs planned by Dimpy Dhillon. The official announcement could not be done anywhere as the Parliamentary Board of the party is in the process of collecting feedback. So he should not have taken it this way," he added.
