New Delhi : The Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (ASP) alliance on Thursday released the sixth list of 13 candidates for the Haryana assembly elections. The list includes nine JJP and four ASP candidates.
JJP has fielded Jitendra Royal from Karnal, Ravindra Minna from Panipat city, Ramesh Khatak from Kharkhoda, Santosh Danoda from Narwana, Rohtash Kandul from Uklana, Yogesh Gautam from Narnaund, Alka Arya from Loharu, Engineer Omprakash from Nangal Chaudhary, and Parwinder Singh from Badkhal.
On the other hand, ASP's Jugunu Mehra from Bhiwani, Balwan Singh from Bahadurgarh, Shashi Kumar from Mahendragarh and Surendra Yadav from Badshahpur have been made candidates.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also released its sixth list of 19 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.
With the latest list, the party has declared its 89 candidates so far.
With 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, the AAP has only one candidate remaining to be declared for the election.
There were seat-sharing talks between the AAP and Congress, but they did not result in an agreement.
The Congress party too released its fourth list of five candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections on Thursday.
The party has fielded Parimal Pari from Ambala Cantt, Sachin Kundu from Panipat Rural, Satbir Dublain from Narwana (SC), Sarva Mitra Kamboj from Rania and Rohit Nagar from Tigaon.
On Wednesday, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) released its third list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections.
The party has fielded Rohtash Jangra from Sirsa, Kanwar Singh Yadav from Mahendragarh and Satish Fagna from Faridabad NIT.
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, and the last date for filing nominations is September 12. The counting of votes will be held on October 8. In the 2019 assembly polls, the BJP became the single-largest party with 40 seats while Congress won 30 seats.
