Speed up ‘land ownership scheme’ work, FC Kaushal tells officials

Haryana Finance Commissioner (Revenue) Sanjeev Kaushal on Monday reviewed the ownership scheme through video conference with the Deputy Commissioners of the state and directed to complete the target within the stipulated time frame. He directed that in order to complete the work of the registry as soon as possible, the village secretary and the Patwari would have to give a target for each day and the nodal officers would review it. If there is any delay in the work, action will be taken against the concerned employee.

The Finance Commissioner said that in this ambitious scheme of the state government, revolutionary steps are being taken to free all the villages and some parts of the city from Lal Dora. He said that the work of ownership scheme has to be completed in the month of September at all costs as he warned against laxity in work by the officials. He said that he wanted results, and if any official wanted any help he could approach him. V.C. in FCR also discussed the registration of deeds and took its district-wise report.
