Experts suggest on the quality and development of sociology studies

DHARAMSHALA : Under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh Central University, Vidya Bharati Institute of Higher Education and Research, the Sociology Workshop organized at Dhauladhar Campus, Dharamsala got to see a logical and detailed discussion of all aspects related to the reading and curriculum of sociology. The syllabus to be prepared for the study of sociology under the National Policy on Education was discussed. In this, experts of sociology from all the major universities across the country presented their suggestions for the quality and development of the study of sociology. After detailed discussion in the two-day workshop, a resolution was passed that school education is an important component in the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. So that the feeling of sympathy, sympathy and cooperation for the country, society can be awakened in the school students. The convener of this workshop was the Dean of the University, Academician Prof. According to Pradeep Kumar, the syllabus to be made for the study of sociology under the National Education Policy was discussed. In this, groups were formed. The groups will collect the facts to prepare the text book. Such meetings are being organized on all subjects. On this occasion the Chancellor Prof. Harmendra Singh Bedi ji said that after 185 years there has been no such national education policy centered on India. Various countries of Asia are discussing this national education policy of India. Its biggest feature is that it has given importance to local languages. Special care has been taken in this National Education Policy to ensure that language does not become a barrier in education. On this occasion, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal ji said that up to 60 percent of the National Education Policy has been implemented in the Central University and efforts are on to teach the subjects which are under NEP.
