DHARAMSHALA : Earthquake tremors have been recorded once again in district Kangra and Chamba on Friday morning. However, due to the low intensity of the earthquake, most of the people could not feel it. But the tremors of the earthquake were felt in many places. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the tremor of the earthquake was recorded at 7.46 am. Its intensity is measured at 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was Salooni area of district Chamba. District Kangra and Chamba fall in Zone 5 prone to earthquakes. Earthquake tremors have been coming here continuously for a few years. Which is pointing towards some disaster somewhere. Although seismologists deny this. Seismologists believe that the Earth's energy comes out from small earthquakes. This greatly reduces the chances of a major earthquake. But here another thing has been recorded that the movement under the earth has intensified for some time in the upper area of Shahpur. In this entire range, earthquake tremors are also coming repeatedly for several months. It is noteworthy that on April 4, 1905, an earthquake of 7.8 Richter scale occurred in district Kangra. In this, at that time 20 thousand people had become a waste of time and most of the villages and cities and temples were destroyed.
