Two arrested in murder case

New Delhi, A day after murder of a 40-year-old man at Dayalpur, Delhi Police arrested two persons from Delhi's Brijpuri and recovered arms.
According to police, a PCR call was received regarding a firing incident on Sunday, at around 1 am. After getting a call police rushed to the spot and found that one person injured by gunshot had been taken to hospital by the family members.
Then police reached the hospital where they came to know that the injured Mehboob was declared dead by doctors, Sanjay Kumar Sain, DCP, northeast Delhi, said.
The Wife of the deceased in her statement raised suspicion on a person known as ‘Taitu’. Acting on her complaint a case was logged at Dayalpur Police Station.
Police scanned CCTVs and analyzed call Details. In one of the CCTV footage the police team got the clue and zeroed in on a person.
On the basis of information a trap was laid and two men were trapped near Brijpuri Pulia, the police said.
During search a revolver loaded with three live cartridges and two empty cartridges were recovered from their possession. The accused have been identified as Rahul Sharma (24) and Sahil Bakhla (21).
As per the police statement, they are drug addicts and the deceased earlier used to sell drugs in the area of Tronica City in Uttar Pradesh. Both were his regular customers. Deceased had borrowed Rs 300,000 from them as loan. He had shifted from Tronica City to Chand Bagh to hide.
He was neither supplying the drug nor returning their amount taken as loan.
On September 26, they reached his house and demanded their money back on which a heated argument between them started after which one of them allegedly shot at him and fled away, DCP said.
