The health department swung into action after finding three dengue cases in village Chamordi. The departmental team reached the village and house-to-house investigation campaign was conducted under which dengue larvae were tested in pots, water tanks and coolers etc. The team did not find any dengue mosquito larvae during the search operation but still the team members poured oil in the stagnant water and appealed to the people to take precautions. At the same time, if the departmental officials are to be believed, no administrative confirmation of these dengue cases has been done yet, but as a precaution, a security campaign has been started by the department.

SMO Dr. Vijay Parmar said that on the basis of information received from a private hospital of village Chamordi, two women and one man have been reported to be dengue positive after which the department asked for their concrete report. After getting the information, the departmental team took the lead and house-to-house investigation is being done. However, the team did not find any larva during the investigation. Soon fogging will also be done in the village with the help of Panchayat. So that other cases can be prevented from escalating.
