On the conclusion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Week by the Municipal Council Una today, sports competitions like 100 meter Freedom Run-2, Tug of War and Musical Chair are organized with the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in the premises of Children's Senior Secondary School, Una. He informed that about 60 members of the families benefitted under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) participated in the programme. The executive officer said that from 27 September to 4 October, the Amrit Mahotsav week of independence was celebrated under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in which the Municipal Council, Una, along with the beneficiaries of Awas Yojana (Urban), cleaning the surroundings of their houses, Sports competitions, plantation and housing were discussed. He told that in the 100 meter freedom run, Shubhanandani got first place, Tanya got second and Lakshmi got third place. In the competition, Shubhanandani got first, Tanya got second and Lakshmi got third place in 100 meters freedom run. Apart from this, the team of Bawli and colleagues was victorious in the Tug of War and Kiran Devi and Meena Devi in the women's group and Kusum and Tanya in the girls' group in the musical chair competition.
