KAITHAL: Sahitya Sabha Kaithal organized a poetry conference, book launch, and felicitation ceremony at RKSD College. Retired Indian Administrative Service officer and senior literary figure Dr. Sumedha Kataria attended the event as the chief guest, while Dr. Chander Trikha, Director of the Urdu Language Cell of the Haryana Sahitya and Sanskriti Academy, Panchkula, presided over the programme. Special guests included Central Sahitya Akademi-honoured literary figure Dr. Pal Kaur, industrialist and literary figure Dr. Jai Bhagwan Singla, and Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh Pahwa, President of Seva Sangh Kaithal. The program was jointly conducted by the Sabha's General Secretary, Dr. Pradyumna Bhalla, and Dr. Ashok Kumar. Principal of RKSD College, Gagan Mittal, and Registrar of Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Dr. Sanjay Goyal, also attended.
Presiding over the programme, Dr. Trikha stated that artificial intelligence poses the greatest challenge to today's writers. The language of literature is declining. We must protect sensitivity in literature and society. For a brighter future for literature, we must engage with the youth. Chief guest Sumedha Kataria stated that social media has alienated young people from print media, letters, and other mediums. Mobile phones have almost forced them to abandon the pen. We must keep the handwritten script alive. Fifteen newly published books were also released at the event. Dr. K.K. Rishi of Gurugram was presented with the Lala Niranjan Das and Sumitra Devi Lifetime Literary Discipline Award. Shanta Devi Kataria Memorial Award, Lalit Sharma 'Dilkash' Kaithal was awarded Shri Dheeraj Trikha Memorial Journalism Award, Satish Singh Mumbai was awarded Dr. Vipul Trikha Memorial Literature Sadhna Award, Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh Pahwa Kaithal was awarded Shri Ashwini Chopra Memorial Award, Sushil Saini Rohtak was awarded Shri Rohit Sardana Memorial Journalism Award, Suresh Hans Bathinda was awarded Pujya Mata-Pita Memorial Literature Award.
Dinesh Sharma Delhi was awarded Shri Deshraj Sharma Abr Seemabi Award, Anil Prithviputra Siwani was awarded Shri Babu Ram Gupta Advocate Memorial Literature Award. Similarly, Rajpal Gulia Jhajjar was awarded Dr. Om Prakash Bansal Anwar Sivni Memorial Literary Award, Savitri Dhariwal Kaithal was awarded Mrs. Dr. Chandra Kiran Bansal Memorial Literary Award, Dr. Vinay Malhotra Ambala was awarded Ramchandra Jhandai Memorial Literary Award, Jaipal Ambala was awarded Saroj Jhandai Memorial Literary Award, Roshan Dehlvi Delhi was awarded Dr. Lal Chand Bhalla Memorial Literary Award, Mukesh Duhan Muku Sonipat was awarded Mrs. Mamo Devi and Mr. Jagdish Ram Memorial Literary Award, Roshan Verma Chandigarh was awarded Banti Devi Deepchand Parashar Memorial Literary Award, Satyaveer Nirala Nigana was awarded Jagbir Devi Memorial Literary Award, BM Bechain Bhiwani was awarded Dhanpati Devi Memorial Literary Award. In this series of awards, Rajendra Tanwar, Kaithal was honored with the Dr. Damodar Vashisht Memorial Journalism Award, Pushpalata Arya, Charkhi-Dadri was honored with the Dr. Bhagwan Das Nirmohi Memorial Work Award, Anand Dewan, Dehradun was honored with the Rohit Sardana Memorial Work Award, Amber Kharbanda, Dehradun was honored with the Distinguished Writer Award, and Sardar Manjeet Singh was honored with the Sardar Lal Kataria Memorial Award.

Similarly, Ashwini Malhotra's poetry collection 'Sapno Ka Hona', Satpal Parashar Anand's Man's Beads, Rajesh Bharti's poetry collection 'Reth Par Rekhayen', Suresh Kumar Kalyan's couplet collection 'Main Bhi Utra Paar', Poonam Mehta Purnima's poetry collection 'Ghunghroo Antarman Ki' were released.
Inspiring people to smile, Dr. KK Rishi said, "It doesn't cost us anything, it doesn't cost you anything, it costs no one anything to smile a little." Regarding the practicalities of the world, Amber Kharbanda said, "If my gold or money were found in my house, I would find out who all I was related to by blood." Poet Ishwar Chand Garg said, "People have become so helpless, consumed by jealousy and suspicion." Jai Bhagwan Singla, Pushpa Lata Arya, Suresh Hans, Satyaveer Singh Nirala, Ravindra Ravi, Dinesh Bansal, Amrit Lal Madan, Kamlesh Sharma, Savitri Dhariwal, BM Baichen, and others also captivated the audience with their compositions at the poetry conference.
