Engineer Sushil Thakur elected unopposed as Director for the second consecutive term

HAMIRPUR: Engineer Sushil Thakur has once again been elected unopposed as Director of the District Cooperative Development Federation, marking his second consecutive term in the post. Thakur has also been serving as Vice Chairman and a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors since 2020.

Thakur was elected unopposed from the Bhoranj zone, as no other candidate filed a nomination against him. Following the completion of the nomination process, he was unanimously declared elected.

On the beginning of his new term, Sushil Thakur expressed gratitude to all cooperative societies, representatives and supporters of the Bhoranj zone. He said this renewed trust inspires him to work with greater dedication for the development of the cooperative sector and the welfare of farmer-members.

Former Bhoranj MLA Dr. Anil Dhiman, former BJP Mandal President Jaimal Thakur, Dalbir Thakur and Joginder Singh Rana congratulated Thakur on his unopposed election. They said that his commitment to strengthening the cooperative sector, maintaining transparency and resolving local issues, combined with his approachable nature and honest image, are the key reasons behind his unopposed victory.
