State-Level Non-Gazetted Employees’ Federation Celebrates 60th Foundation Day in Chamba

Chamba: The Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees’ Federation celebrated its 60th State-Level Foundation Day with great enthusiasm, dignity, and joy in Chamba. The event witnessed the participation of nearly 500 employees from various districts, showcasing the strength and unity of the organisation. Federation President Trilok Thakur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and extended heartfelt greetings to all employees and office bearers.

In his address, Thakur reflected on the federation’s 60-year journey of struggle, discipline, and inspiration, emphasising that the organisation has always prioritised employee welfare and voiced their concerns with determination.

During the ceremony, District President Praveen Mehta and other office bearers honoured the Chief Guest and senior state-level leaders by presenting traditional short caps and symbols of prosperity, strengthening the spirit of cooperation, unity, and cultural exchange.

Speakers at the event assured that the federation would hold phased discussions with the government to resolve pending financial issues of employees. They highlighted key priorities such as service conditions, promotions, seniority, a transparent transfer policy, and timely payment of salaries and allowances. Announcements were also made regarding convening the Joint Advisory Committee meeting soon, encouraging youth participation in leadership, expanding the membership drive, and providing specialised training on modern technologies like e-office and e-filing.

It was reiterated that employees form the backbone of the state’s development, and safeguarding their interests remains the federation’s top mission. Speakers stressed that organisational strength is the true foundation of employee empowerment and urged members to move forward with unity, discipline, and collective spirit.

The event concluded with heartfelt thanks to all participants. Leaders affirmed that the federation will continue to intensify its efforts for employee welfare with greater strength and strategic focus in the future.

Prominent attendees included State Senior Vice President Dhruv Singh Bhuriya, State General Secretary Rajiv Chauhan, Vice Presidents L.D. Chohan, Karan Rajta, Jayakrishan Sharma, Ajay Awasthi, Ajay Diki, Chief Press Secretary Manish Guleria, Treasurer Jagmohan Kanwar, Organisation Secretary Pavna Rana, and officials of the Chamba district unit of the federation.
