DHARAMSHALA: Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee working president and Kangra MLA Pawan Kajal said that before the fire fighters, they have demanded to provide employment to the registered unemployed in the state. He said that before Agniveer would retire after the next 4 or 5 years, the unemployment figure in Himachal has crossed 15 lakhs and the state government is not worried about providing employment to the unemployed.
Due to rising unemployment and inflation, the defeat of BJP is certain in the coming assembly elections. And to save their defeat, people are misleading the youth by making false announcements. Kajal was speaking in the Veerta Panchayat under your MLA Aapki Ghar Door program on Sunday.
He said that in order to provide employment to the unemployed in Himachal and to understand their suffering, the Congress party has taken a decision to take out the Unemployment Yatra in the state. The present government has stopped giving unemployment allowance to the unemployed.
The BJP government of the state has been opposed to the development of district Kangra and the previous Congress government has sanctioned IT Park in Gaggal, Kangra to provide employment to the unemployed. Whose BJP government is cheating the unemployed by not getting it built.
Kajal said that Rs 40 crore has been approved for sewerage project in about half a dozen panchayats with valor, soon sewerage facility will be made available in the panchayats. He said that 20 new hand pumps have been installed in Gambhir Panchayat as MLA, road has been constructed from 17 lakh to the cremation ground of the village and community building will be constructed soon at a cost of Rs 7 lakh.
