DHARAMSHALA: Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Vice Chairman Ajay Verma extended New Year greetings to all the residents of the constituency and, on this auspicious occasion of the New Year, he furthered the "Commitment to Service, Reaching Every Village" campaign by providing bus service to the villagers of Bari Behi for the first time since independence. He formally flagged off the Thakurdwara-Ranital HRTC bus service along with the villagers. The local villagers were extremely happy to receive this bus service. Addressing everyone, Ajay Verma said that new developmental schemes are continuously being implemented in the Kangra assembly constituency with the support of the honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He said that another bus service will be provided to the people here within 15 days.
He said that the honorable Chief Minister continuously takes feedback from the Kangra assembly constituency. He said that the state's successful Chief Minister has extended his full support to the Kangra assembly constituency, and work is being done continuously according to the problems of the people. He congratulated the villagers of Bari Behi on receiving the gift of the bus. He also inaugurated a community hall built at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh in Gram Panchayat Gahliyan. He directed that Rs. 50,000 be provided for furniture for the community hall, a handpump be installed in the panchayat, and the water supply scheme be made fully functional. He said that thousands of people here will benefit from the construction of the community hall. He said that this facility, which the villagers had been deprived of since independence, has been provided with the support of the state's successful Chief Minister, for which he expresses his gratitude.
He said that road construction work is continuously being carried out in the Kangra assembly constituency. Work is underway to further improve facilities like electricity, water, and healthcare in the villages, which is benefiting the villagers. He said that his goal is to make the Kangra assembly constituency an excellent constituency under the guidance of the state's successful Chief Minister, and he is continuously working towards this. On this occasion, village head Raina Chaudhary, Deputy Head Kishori Lal Mehta, BDO Kangra Parul, DM Pankaj Chaddha, DDM Rajinder Pathania, RM Sahil Kapoor, village head of Palera Satpal, village head of Kulthi Ram Krishna, Raziana Puni Chand, and officials from the IPH, PWD, and Forest Department were present, along with a large number of villagers.
