NEW DELHI : ShareChat, India’s leading social media platform, recently organized its first exclusive creator meetup under its flagship event series - ‘Creator Fest’, in Delhi. The event was held in Dwarka and witnessed 50 Hindi-language ShareChat creators coming together and creating memorable experiences. Popular Moj creators, Priyanka Sharma and Rapper Maddy also attended the event along with Anand Maurya, Vivek Sharma, Uttam Agrahari, Vikram and engaged with the high-spirited community.
ShareChat Creator Fest is a flagship on-ground event series where creators come together as a community to connect with fellow like-minded creators. At the event, ShareChat creators met their friends for the first time who they had known since years, they connected with each other, showcased their talent, created on-the-spot content on different themes, enjoyed performances by other creators, attended grooming and guidance sessions by Priyanka Sharma explored ideas on collaborations, and exchanged notes on creating innovative content. The event was emceed by Rapper Maddy who turned out to be a crowd favourite. The collaborative event celebrated the ShareChat creator community by bringing them together.
Speaking about the fest, Shashank Shekhar, Senior Director, Content Strategy & Operations, ShareChat, said, “We are excited to launch our first ever creator community event in Delhi for our Hindi creators. Talking about her experience of hosting a grooming session, Moj creator Priyanka Sharma said, “Being a Delhiite and a content creator, it was a pleasure to meet other artistic creators from my city. ShareChat’s Creator Fest is a great initiative to bring together creators with similar backgrounds and goals. It was a delight to engage with new and upcoming creators as I got an opportunity to share our stories with each other. Regional creators are gaining fame and opportunities, and ShareChat has been instrumental in helping us succeed by connecting us with the right audience in India.”
For the next six months, 20 Creator Fest events are planned in different regions of India reaching creators across ten different languages. Through these events, the platform aims to bring together 1500 creators from nine verticals: Emotions, Entertainment, Humour, Lifestyle, Astro & Devotion, Automobiles, Gaming and Technology, News, Sports & Business Education & Jobs.
