Shimla Hari Krishna Himral, Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank and MGNREGA coordinator, will be on a three-day tour of the Arki Assembly constituency from January 16 to 18, 2026. During the visit, he will hold meetings with Congress office-bearers, panchayat representatives and booth-level workers to give momentum to the ‘MGNREGA Bachao Sangram’ campaign.
On the first day, January 16, upon reaching Arki, Himral will hold a meeting with Congress workers to discuss issues related to MGNREGA and organisational strategy. On the second day, he will tour various panchayats, zones and Zila Parishad wards in the area to carry out public outreach and interact directly with party workers. He will also inspect areas affected by recent fire incidents and assess the problems faced by affected families.
On the third day, after an online meeting with booth-level Congress workers, Himral will return to Shimla.
