Rohtak: A shocking case of brutal murder has surfaced near the meat market on Sunaria Jail Road, where the mutilated body of a 25-year-old youth was found lying by the roadside on Wednesday morning. The victim had his throat slit, and in a gruesome act, his abdomen was ripped open with intestines pulled out, sending shockwaves through the area.
According to the police, the deceased was identified nearly two hours after the body was discovered as Mohit, a resident of Ram Nagar. Shivaji Colony police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The victim’s brother, Gaurav, revealed that Mohit worked at a dhaba in Arya Nagar. He last saw him on Tuesday night near Geeta Market on Kila Road. How Mohit reached the isolated area behind the grain market and who carried out the murder remains unclear.
Police teams are currently examining CCTV footage from nearby locations to trace the suspects and piece together the sequence of events. Further investigation is underway.
