Mumbai: Actress Rasika Dugal has offered a candid reflection on her experience with social media. In her latest post, she spoke about the unexpected lessons it has brought her over time. Dugal marked Social Media Day and noted that while she did not actively seek out many of these learnings, they have nonetheless shaped her perspective in ways she hadn’t anticipated. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Hamid’ actress shared her videos and wrote, “Social media has taught me many things. I didn't ask for all of them, but here we are. #SocialMediaDay.”

The text on the first video read, “How to lose 45 minutes accidentally.” Another said, “How to have music stuck in my head.” The third clip said, “How to save healthy recipes while eating chips.” Social Media Day is celebrated every year on June 30 to acknowledge the transformative influence of digital platforms.

On the professional front, Rasika was recently seen in the film “Kartavya,” which stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead. She will next be seen in “Mirzapur – The Movie,” which is slated for release on September 4. The Mirzapur franchise revolves around Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a powerful crime boss and businessman who rules over Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh’s Purvanchal region.

The first season featured an ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The upcoming film version will introduce new faces such as Jitendra Kumar, Sonal Chauhan, and Ravi Kishan, along with returning cast members.

In the second season, most of the original cast returned, except Vikrant Massey and Shriya Pilgaonkar, while new additions included Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam.

Rasika was last seen in the black comedy “Lord Curzon Ki Haveli,” directed by Anshuman Jha.
