Mohali : “Meet the Leader: Punjab 2035 – Equipping Gen Z for the Next Economic Revolution” was organized at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali in a joint effort of Global Shapers Chandigarh Hub (an initiative of the World Economic Forum) and AIC ISB Mohali. Leading industrialists, startup founders, technology leaders and a large number of youth from Punjab and Chandigarh participated in the event.
During the event, successful entrepreneurs spoke openly about their business journeys. They explained how hard work, patience and continuous learning are required to build a successful business. The speakers also shared their struggles, failures and lessons learned and explained how they achieved success after facing many failures. They also explained what opportunities are emerging for new industries and youth in the changing times, especially in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The event was also attended by a large number of youth who want to start their own businesses or are already running businesses. They got the opportunity to interact directly with successful industrialists of the country, ask their questions, seek advice and share their views. The attendees emphasized that there is a great need for such inspiring and enlightening events in Punjab, so that the youth can get new opportunities in their own state and take their businesses to new heights.
The event was considered a great success, given the attendance, discussions and enthusiasm of the youth. Representatives of Global Shapers Chandigarh Hub said that more such large-scale events will be organized in the future as well, so that the youth of Punjab can get a strong platform to learn from successful entrepreneurs, network and turn their dreams into reality.
