New Delhi : With the objective of making DSGMC functioning more effective, transparent, and congregation-centric, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee convened a special meeting today under the leadership of its President, Harmeet Singh Kalka. The meeting was attended by general secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon, senior office-bearers, and committee members, who held detailed deliberations on the DSGMC's ongoing initiatives, issues concerning the sikh sangat, and its future priorities.
Addressing the meeting S Harmeet Singh Kalka stated that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee remains firmly committed to living up to the expectations of the sikh sangat. He emphasized that DSGMC is continuously introducing new initiatives to further strengthen and expand its religious, educational, social, and humanitarian services. He further highlighted that translating the timeless sikh principles of selfless service , dedication, and the welfare of all into meaningful action remains the committee's foremost priority.
General Secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that the meeting included a comprehensive review of the Committee's ongoing development works, while extensive discussions were also held on upcoming projects and priority initiatives planned for the future. He affirmed that the DSGMC is carrying out its responsibilities with complete transparency, accountability, and a spirit of selfless service, and will continue to work with unwavering dedication to safeguard the interests of the sikh community and society at large.
During the meeting, Committee members presented valuable suggestions and unanimously expressed their commitment to introducing more effective services and new public welfare initiatives in line with the evolving needs of the Sangat. The members also assured their full cooperation in further strengthening the Committee's activities and fulfilling the aspirations of the Sikh community with sincerity and dedication.
