Karnal: Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Devendra Sharma has directed officials from various departments in district to submit a detailed report to City Magistrate regarding any office lacking space.Sharma was addressing a meeting of officials in District Secretariat auditorium today. Officials from several departments expressed their difficulties due to a lack of space.They had a large staff and limited available space.
Several officials complained about dilapidated condition of their office buildings and expiry of their leases. Sharma urged each department to submit a detailed report regarding required space to CTM office so that appropriate action could be taken. CTM Suresh Kumar was also present on occasion.He directed officials to submit report regarding tree plantations undertaken in their office premises. He stated that this report had not yet been received from most departments.
