September 08, 2026 01:13 PM

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday as part of the state’s investment outreach programme.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Majhi will visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where he is scheduled to hold high-level government engagements, investor meetings, business interactions and outreach programmes with the Odia diaspora.

The visit will begin in Abu Dhabi, where the Chief Minister will engage with leading UAE institutions and investors. His programme includes a roundtable with IHC, the signing of Memoranda of Cooperation (MoCs), and meetings with the UAE Minister of Investment and representatives of sovereign investment funds.

Majhi will then travel to Dubai, where he will hold a series of one-to-one meetings with industry leaders and prospective investors.

On September 11, the Chief Minister will participate in the Odisha Investors Meet in Dubai and interact with members of the Odia diaspora, further strengthening the state’s engagement with its global community.

According to the CMO, the UAE outreach aims to showcase Odisha’s investment-ready ecosystem, industrial strengths, emerging sectors and growth opportunities to the UAE business community and global investors.

The visit is expected to provide a platform for strengthening investment, trade and industrial partnerships between Odisha and the UAE.

Majhi will leave the UAE on September 12, concluding his three-day international investment outreach.
