Uddhav Thackeray performs 'Maha Puja' at Vitthal-Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray along with his wife Rashmi Thackeray performed the 'Maha Puja' at Vitthal-Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur on Tuesday morning on the auspicious occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi.

 

The occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi is dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu across many states in the country. Some also observe fast to attain prosperity and attain moksha later in life.

 

The Chief Minister prayed for people of maharashtra and said Let the people live a happy and healthy life. "Let God end Coronavirus now so people could enjoy healthy and prosperous life" destroyed Corona permanently so that lakh of warkari in state can restart their foot journey again, cm prayed to Vitthala and rukhmani mata.

 

Thackeray prayed from lord Vitthal. Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray, Guardian Minister Dattatraya Bharane, Pandharpur Mayor Sadhana Bhosale, Temple Committee Co-Chairperson Gahinath Ausekar, Collector Milind Shambharkar, Director General of Information and Public Relations Dilip Pandharpatte, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Dilip Swamy, Special Inspector General of Police Kolhapur, Superintendent of Police Tejaswi Satpute were present.
