JD(U) strengthen its presence in Punjab

India: At JD(U) working meeting in Barnala, Punjab leaders and workers of the ruling party AAP along with the leaders and party workers of Akali Dal Badal and BJP join hands with Janata Dal(U) Punjab in the presence of Shri Malvinder Singh Benipal, President JD(U) Punjab, Smt. Dr. Kittu Singh, President Women’s Wing JD(U) Punjab, Shri. Vikram Singh Gill, In Charge Malwa Region, and Smt. Deepa Rani, General Secretary led by Shri. Avtar Singh, Mandal in Charge Malwa Region.

 

In its working meeting, it was decided to focus on Unemployment, Women’s Safety, and key issues concerning Youth and Students. As a first step, the party will start a membership drive in Punjab to enroll those under 35 years at the full state level with a special focus on Women enrollment.

 

As a result of inspiration, Shri. Harcharan Singh, Senior Vice-President of Akali Dal Badal joined hands with JD(U), Punjab, and along with him several party workers and colleagues also joined JD(U), Punjab Unit.

 

Speaking at the occasion Shri. Harcharan Singh, Senior Vice President ADB mentioned “With this alliance, the Youth Wing of JD(U), Punjab will be strengthened and further increase the youthful vigor of this political party, while taking the idea of clean politics effectively to the state of Punjab”.

 

BJP leader Shri. Vikramjit Singh Malout, Malwa Region, also did not hesitate in joining JD(U), Punjab Unit and said “Future of Punjab Politics is with JD(U) and he is very sure of the support of Youth to the Party”.

 

Shri. Arjan Singh, leader of AAP followed the footsteps of Leaders of ADB and BJP and said JD(U), Punjab Unit, and appreciated the Parties vision for Youth and Women Empowerment and stated that I extend my full support for now and in the future to JD(U), Punjab Unit.

 

Concluding the party working meeting Shri. Malvinder Singh Benipal, President of JD(U) Punjab said “We respect and welcome all the leaders and party workers who are willing to take forward the party’s ideology and join us in our endeavor to serve the people of Punjab”.
