Kharar : Famous builder of Kharar Amrit Lal Bansal has been honored with prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award in Senate (Parliament) of France by Mrs.Victoire Jasmine, Cabinet Minister France. On this occasion Mrs.Shrilla Datta Ambassador of India to France, Madhu Bhandarkar Famous Indian Film Maker, Ms Picasso Member Parliament France & Mr. Suresh Mishra President Yuva Sanskriti, Meira Gandhi, Film Maker, Mr.H.C.Ganeshia General Secretary Yuva Sanskrit in Palais Du Luxembourg Senate (Parliament)of France were present.
More than 30 senators of France & members of Parliament of France and many imminent personalities of the world attended the function. Notably Dr. Amrit Lal Bansal served as Executive Officer in the Municipal Administration of Punjab in 1978 and has served as such from 1978to2008.During this period he was instrumental in the development of the new towns of SAS Nagar (Mohali), Zirakpur, Kharar and Anandpur Sahib.
Being honored by Justice Rakesh Kumar Garg & Justice Amar Nath Jindal, former Judges of Punjab & Haryana High Court at Bathinda, Punjab for his outstanding contribution in the development of the new towns of SAS Nagar (Mohali), Zirakpur, Kharar and Anandpur Sahib. He eradicated total illiteracy from the towns of Morinda, Kurali and Ropar in Punjab while posted there as Executive Officer in the Municipal Councils of these towns from 1994 – 1998.
Thereafter he went on a business leave for three years in 2004 and successfully started a real estate company in the name of Surya Enclave, Kharar which is hardly 10 KM from Chandigarh. He constructed a good number of affordable houses for the common man. He has condensed his vast experience of life and dealing with public in his book From Stagnation to Vibrant Living which is available in 140 countries of the world which has motivated many corporate CEOs, Judges, Administrators and Students.
He was appointed SecretaryOrganization, International Vaish Federation, New Delhi in October 2020. Dr. Amrit Lal Bansalhas distributed more then 50,000 food packets during covid wave 1, 2and 3 in Punjab, J&K and other states.
He organized about 25 covid vaccination camps at different places throughout the country.
Dr. Amrit Lal Bansal is a renowned environmentalist who has played an active role in construction of large number of public parks and plantation of trees since 1979. In as early as 1979 he had constructed 4 public parks in a small town like Goniana where he was posted as Executive Officer, Municipal Council Goniana and since then he had not looked back.Thereafter he had joined as Executive Officer in the Notified Area Committee S.A.S.Nagar(Mohali) where he had put extraordinary special efforts to construct 170 neighbourhood parks in Mohali city and dotted the entire town with large number of parks. He also constructed Boughenvillea Park in Phase5, Mohali and Rose Garden Park in Phase 3B-2, Mohali.He also got constructed a big Leisure Valley Park in Sector -62 spreading over 55 acres which is most beautiful park in the Tricity and large residents of Chandigarh visit this park daily and enjoy its serene atmosphere.
