Punjab government took historic decisions in one and half months after Channi became CM: Gurkeerat Kotli

Goldy Chugh, Shahabad: Punjab's Cabinet Industries Minister Gurkeerat Singh Kotli said that the Congress government of Punjab has worked to strengthen the economic condition of Punjab in the last four and a half years. Due to which the industry has strengthened in Punjab and in this period, investors have invested more than one lakh crore in Punjab. Kotli said that the Punjab government has done a great job on the roads, which is an example in itself in the country. Kotli was talking to reporters after having darshan at the Markandeshwar temple in Shahabad. He said that after Charanjit Singh Channi became the Chief Minister, in the last one and a half months, the Punjab Government has taken historic decisions in the interest of the people of Punjab. He said that the economic condition of the people was badly affected due to Covid, so the Punjab government has done the work of making electricity cheap and also  waived off the electricity bills. Apart from this, many important decisions have been taken in the interest of the public. He said that the Congress government is fighting for the rights of Punjab, whereas the Akalis have always given preference to the chair. He said that all the issues of Punjab have been resolved and Akalis are creating noise without any reason. Kotli said that during the time of the Akali government, the youth were pushed into an intoxicated state, while the Congress has worked to eliminate drugs from the root. He said that during the Akali government the big crocodiles who were involved in drug trade, the Punjab government is taking action against such smugglers and soon the faces of the big crocodiles involved in it will be in front of the people of Punjab. Gurkeerat Kotli said that agricultural laws have been forcibly imposed on the farmers and the Punjab government has been opposing these laws from the very beginning. He said that the Punjab government has given Rs 5 lakh each in cash and government jobs to the farmers, who were martyred during the farmers' movement. He said that if Captain Amarinder Singh forms a separate party, it will not have any effect on the Congress. He said that he would say here that Captain Amarinder Singh should also work in the Congress. Earlier, on reaching Shahabad, Harshvardhan Kohli and Vinod Wadhwa welcomed Cabinet Minister Gurkeerat Kotli. A large number of dignitaries including Harshvardhan Kohli, Vinod Wadhwa, Raman Kohli, Mohit Chadhuni, Chandramohan Kohli, Bharat Singh were present on the occasion.
