Panaji, Actress Paoli Dam on Saturday said that film Abhijaan is based on the true life journey of veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee who was an institution in himself.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the noted actress said interacting with the legendary actor was always enlightening.
“He is one actor, whose legacy, the present generation of Bengal artists have been trying to inherit. His body of work will inspire generations to come. I am privileged to work with him in a few films,” she said.
