Through special lectures by SS Chattha, chairman of the institute, pledging to develop the personality by honing the talents of the students, to have a profound effect on education, it led to a similar sentiment on the occasion of Constitution Day. Department of Youth Services NSS Department Panjab University Patiala Coordinator Dr. Gurmeet Singh, Program Coordinator Ritu Bala, Kumari Shelja, Prof. Manpreet Kaur Prof. Birballa, Prof. Mandeep Kaur, Prof. Sandeep Kaur, Prof. Kuldeep Singh, Prof. Amandeep Kaur and Mamta Sharma Nehru Yuva Kendra specially attended. On this occasion the importance of Constitution Day was elaborated by Prof. Ritu Bala, Gurmeet Singh of Nehru Youth Center and the preamble of Indian Constitution was sworn in. Later a one day NSS camp was also organized which started with Shabad singing. The trees and stage were then painted by NSS volunteers. About 125 volunteers took part in the clean up drive and were also given refreshments by the organization.
