Kolkata, Bengal U19 were in steady position at the end of the second day with 180/3
on the scoreboard against Uttarakhand in Cooch Behar trophy match at New Delhi on Tuesday.
Earlier, after resuming the day on 258/6 Uttarakhand were bundled out for 344 runs as Bengal
bolwer Siddharth Singh registered a four-wicket haul while Toufiq Uddin and Milind Mondal bagged
two wickets apiece.
Uttarakhand skipepr Anmol hit 74 off 166 deliveries.
Later Toufiq starred with the bat too by steadying Bengal team along with Ayush Kr Singh after
early departure of Sayan Dey in the second over.
The duo added 113 runs off the second wicket before Toufiq went back scoring 70 and Ayush
made 57.
Bengal U19 skipper Abhishek Porel stayed unbeaten on 40 along with Shashank Singh (9) at the stumps.
