Municipal Corporation Mayor Madan Chouhan called a meeting of officers of the Engineering Branch and Kanishka Engineers. In the meeting, they discussed in detail about the ongoing development works in the city and the pending works. During this time Kanishka took reports from all the engineers about the development work being done in their wards. Mayor Chouhan instructed all the officers to complete the development works started before June 30. He also instructed to issue notice to the agency and contractor who did not complete the development work on time.
During the meeting, Mayor Chouhan took information from the officers of the Engineering Branch about the ongoing construction works in all the wards and the development works being carried out in the city under Amrut Yojana and discussed them in detail. During this time he got information from every Kanishka engineer about the development works being done in his ward. He got information about what percentage of the work was done and at what time the work will be completed.
Instructions were given to the officers of the engineering branch to prepare an estimate about the roads, alleys and other construction works to be constructed in the city. At the same time, information was taken about the obstacles in the construction of pending works and taking NOC.
Also, by giving notice to the agency which did not complete the work within the stipulated time, instructions were given to ask the reason for not completing the work. Besides, he instructed all the officers to pay the bills of the agency and contractors on time. Mayor Chouhan said that no negligence will be tolerated regarding the development works to be carried out in the city.
Their estimate should be prepared as soon as possible and work should be tendered for construction. All the officers should make regular visits to the ongoing construction works in their wards and provide better facilities to the city dwellers.
On the occasion Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Sharma, XEN LC Chouhan, XEN Ravi Oberoi, ME Varun Sharma, ME Muneshwar Bhardwaj, ME Pankaj Dhanda, JE Jai Bhagwan, JE Manish Kumar, JE Arvind, JE Ajay, JE Moni Saini, JE Vikas Sabbarwal, JE Gopal, JE Gagan, JE Pankaj, JE Pratik and JE Pankaj were present.
