Pt. Suraj Nirwan goes viral with Rockini song “Raat Raat Bhar Tau Ne DJ Pe”

Pt. Suraj Nirwan had gone viral with Rockini song “Raat Raat Bhar Tau Ne DJ Pe”, today he is promoting Indian classical music all over the world by his inspirational tabla playing Rockini, Haryanvi Rock or Raat Raat Bhar Tau Ne DJ Song was a fusion of Haryana's Ragini and Rock Music to awaken patriotism and inspire the youth not to waste their time in useless things but to do something constructive for society…This song is from the year 2015-2016 which went viral on social media and very soon became popular in masses. Suraj was the lyricist and composer of this song but he gave credit for its success to his entire band Eternal Bliss and SAM Workshop. With this song, Suraj gave a message to the youth to avoid drugs, not to waste time and love their country. Suraj had told many deep messages hidden in the song along with entertainment in the lyrics and tune. Many Bollywood music directors and producers approached him to buy this song but he denied every offer considering it purely a philanthropic contribution towards youth awakening. Suraj never sold this song or took a single rupee for commercial gain, he considered this song as a service towards social cause. Suraj has been an integral part of SAM Workshop’s in-house fusion band ‘Eternal Bliss’ for almost 10 years, from 2009 to 2019. He has performed and inspired the youth of many cities across the country such as Daulat Ram College in Delhi, Bhawanipur College in Kolkata, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University in Meerut, GB Pant University in Pantnagar among many schools, colleges and university forums etc. Apart from Rockini, Suraj, while serving in SAM Workshop's Eternal Bliss Band, he also sang 'Jeeene Do Mujhe' dedicated to the Nirbhaya murder case, 'Deewaron' dedicated to the inmates of Tihar Jail and 'Flying Skies' dedicated to the Indian Armed Forces where he Provided words and voices, which he did with the spirit of dedication and did not take any financial advantage.
During that era Suraj’s band mates were: Pankaj Prajapati and Bharat Airi on Vocals, Late Vishik Chaudhary on Drums, Puraskar Nirwan on lead Guitar, Yash Bhalla on Bass Guitar and Gaurav Gupta on Keyboards. Swami Radhakrishnanand and Sadhvi Pragya Bharti were the main coordinator of SAM workshops, who dedicated their selfless services and time and brought this event to the masses.
Even after gaining fame from these songs, Suraj did not give up his original classical music, Tabla, but after touching the peak of rock band, he gave up and engaged in music practice like a true seeker of music and today he is a member of Indian High Commission, Indira Gandhi Cultural Center is promoting its Indian culture in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
