The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great pomp in Vashisht Public School. Various competitions were organized on this occasion. Diya decoration from class 1st to 4th and Rangoli competition from class 5th to 10th were organized, in which children participated enthusiastically and performed excellently. In Diya Decoration Competition from class I, Praakshi got first, Aditya and Namit Bassi got second and Ayush got third. Aarohi and Anaya Chabba got first, Simranjit Kaur and Angadveer got second, Arika and Ishika got third position from class II. Navneet and Isha got first and Jai got second, Anshika and Aaradhya Bharadwaj got third position from class III. From class IV Vedanta got first, Akshama and Anshika got second, Gaurangi and Namish Bassi got third place. In Rangoli competition from class 5th, Urvi got first, Amodita got second and Kanan and Madhav got third place. Radhika got third place from class VI First, Harshdeep Kaur, Neetu Rana got second and Omshikha and Radhika got third position. Anika and Ishita got first, Saanvi second and Simrita Kaur got third position from class VIII. Ashish got first, Mehak and Anviksha from class VIII. Second and Yashasvi secured third place. From class IX, Tamanna secured first, Navi Sharma and Niharika Bharadwaj second and Pari Tiwari got third position. From class X, Shagun got first, Amandeep second and Sheryl got third position. Teachers had a lot of fun and school on this occasion. The teachers were given gifts by the management. The school's chairman, Satpal Vashisht congratulated the winning students and wished them a very happy Diwali. He motivated the children to celebrate Green Diwali.
