Mr. Rajnish Bhagat has assumed the charge of Vice Chairman of Punjab Genco Limited (100% Subsidiary Company of Punjab Energy Development Agency) today in the presence of NRSE Minister Dr. Raj Kumar Verka and Mr. Mahinder Singh KP, Former Cabinet Minister and Chairman Punjab State Technical Education Board. On this occasion Mr. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, Managing Director, and Mr. M.P Singh, Director and other Senior Officers of Punjab Genco Ltd. were also present.
Mr. Randhawa briefed to Dr. Raj Kumar Verka about the RE Projects / activities being under taken by PEDA / PGL. Mr. Verka desired to further explore the potential in this green energy sector for decreasing the carbon footprint and increasing the use of Renewable Energy to meet the energy requirements for the state of Punjab and also to make it pollution free. MD, PGL ensured to push forward this sector and to explore the potential in more Renewable Energy projects in the state under the able guidance of Minister NRSE.
