Punjab Governor attends function of Chandigarh Management Association

Chandigarh: Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, Banwari Lal Purohit attended as chief guest the function organized by the Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) at CII-31 Chandigarh.


Banwarilal Purohit released the CMA’s annual report and directory highlighting the works of the outgoing Executive Committee of CMA headed by Gursimran Singh Oberoi and appreciated the work done by the CMA for the year 2022-23 which has benefited the society by strengthening the management spree between industry, academia and government.


Purohit said that in any field of work, management sharpens efficiency in the system. Emphasizing that the tenure period should be two years, he said that the efforts made by the CMA in the last one year to strengthen the management will open new doors for coming generations in the field of corporate as well as industry.


In his address, President Gursimran Oberoi and the General Secretary Abhishek Gupta thanked the other members of the association for their cooperation and briefed about the various activities organized by CMA including lecture series, panel discussions, study tours, industry tours, leadership conclaves and management development series based on social, economic, political and technological changes and achievements which also gave a new dimension to the management ecosystem of tricity.


Affiliated to the All India Management Association (AIMA), CMA was formed in 1966 and occupies a leading position among the 67 local management associations of AIMA in the world.
