Girl students duped of Rs 30 lakhs in MBBS Admission, Haryana Minister Anil Vij orders strict action

Chandigarh:Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij today directed the Gurugram Police Commissioner to take strict action in the case of fraud of Rs 30 lakh in the name of getting admission in MBBS to two girl students. Sh. Vij told the Police Commissioner that those who fraud, should not be spared under any circumstances and strict action should be taken against them.

Today, at the residence of Home Minister Anil Vij in Ambala, two girl students from Gurugram gave their complaint and said that they were asked to get admission in MBBS by the Sankalp Alignment and Service Agency in Gurugram.

The owner of the agency had told them that he would be admitted to Shri Ram Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur, West Bengal. For this, they gave Rs 15 lakh each i.e. a total of Rs 30 lakh to the agency.

They were told by the agency that their admission had been done and they should go to Durgapur and starts attend the classes.

Both the students told that when they reached Durgapur, the institute refused to give them admission. They had also filed a case of fraud against the agency in Gurugram, but no action has been taken on it yet. The Home Minister instructed the Police Commissioner, Gurugram to take strict action in the matter.


Giving the complaint of a Shahbad resident to Home Minister Anil Vij that the agent cheated him of Rs 5 lakh in the name of sending his son abroad, Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SIT formed for immigration fraud to investigate the matter.

Similarly, a woman from Maheshnagar told Home Minister Anil Vij that she was being continuously threatened and used abusive language by a person over a minor dispute. The minister instructed the Ambala DSP present on the spot to take strict action in this matter.

At the same time, a woman who came from Sunder Nagar of Ambala told that her husband was missing for three days and after this her husband's body was recovered. The police have registered a case in this matter, but no concrete action has been taken till now. The Home Minister instructed DSP Ambala Cantt to take action in the matter.

Apart from this, the woman who came from Narayangarh alleged that she was being harassed by her husband and her in-laws, on which SP Ambala directed, the family from Faridabad complained about kidnapping of a minor girl and forcibly marrying her and on other matters, the Home Minister informed the concerned authorities to take action.
