Chandigarh: Under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh, the Cabinet has won a vote of confidence today in the special session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

After discussions by members of the ruling party and the opposition on the motion of confidence in the house, the vote of confidence motion was passed by a voice vote.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that just as under the leadership of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the state has seen all-round development in the past nine and a half years, and the public has received benefits, upholding the same ideology, the present government will work hard to serve the residents of the state. We have to work with the same mindset to provide benefits and rapid development to the people, and bring new development programs. I have learned a lot under the guidance of Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister, Nayab Singh said that today is his first day in the house as the Chief Minister. However, he has been a member of the Vidhan Sabha from 2014 to 2019.

He has also represented the state in the Lok Sabha and now has been entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Minister of the state by central leadership.

Calling himself a small worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nayab Singh said that he comes from an ordinary family and there is no one in his family in politics. Leading various responsibilities given by the Bharatiya Janata Party, he is present here today as the leader of the house after being the state president, which is only possible in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah, BJP National President, Sh. JP Nadda, and former Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal for entrusting him with this important responsibility.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of former Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the example of good governance has been presented, and in the past nine and a half years, work has been done to give a new direction to the state without discrimination. Sh. Manohar Lal is a diligent worker. He has dedicated his entire life to the service of the state with honesty and dedication.

Nayab Singh said that when the intention is honest and the work is strong, people are now saying once again Modi government, BJP government will come to power.

He said that Sh. Manohar Lal has made improvements in the administration while working in mission mode, due to which today the beneficiaries are receiving the benefits of government schemes sitting at home.

Today, through the portal, senior citizens are receiving a pension of Rs. 3,000 per month at home, said the Chief Minister.

He said that under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign, not only has eradicated the evil of female feticide in Haryana but due to the dedicated efforts of the state government, daughters have also been given the gift of life and education.

The Chief Minister said that in the past nine and a half years, Haryana has progressed in many cases. In major states, per capita income, per capita GST collection, car production, procurement of 14 crops at MSP, real-time data availability through Parivar Pehchan Patra, giving the highest amount to players, 100 percent educated panchayat, installing more than 72,000 solar pumps, giving 50 percent representation to women in panchayats, etc, Haryana is at the forefront.

Nayab Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, today India's name is shining in the world.

He said that during the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, people said that only the BJP government is such a government which reaches every village and household to provide the benefits of government schemes. Whereas before 2014, governments used to promise to eradicate poverty, but after voting, it was difficult to find the government, said the Chief Minister.

He said that with the blessings and support of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the present state government will stand up to the aspirations of the people.
