Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Wednesday paid his heartfelt tribute to the great sant-poet Sant Kabir Das Ji on the occasion of his jayanti at Raj Bhawan here.
On the occasion, Shri Dattatraya said that Sant Kabir ji’s verses, written in a simple yet profoundly powerful style, continue to inspire generations with their timeless wisdom. “His teachings on love, humility, devotion, and the oneness of all beings transcend the boundaries of time, caste, and creed,” added Shri Dattatraya.
Governor Shri Dattatraya emphasized that Sant Kabir Das Ji’s message of universal brotherhood, inner awakening, and spiritual integrity remains deeply relevant in today’s world, especially at a time when unity, compassion, and understanding are needed more than ever.
“Let us draw inspiration from Sant Kabir ji’s life and teachings to build a society rooted in harmony, mutual respect, and shared humanity,” Shri Dattatraya added, stating that his fearless voice against social evils and his unwavering call for truth and divine love were exemplary.
Secretary to Governor Shri Atul Dwivedi, IAS, and ADC to Governor Shri Manpreet Singh Sudan, IPS, also paid their floral tribute to great poet Sant Kabir Das on the occasion. Other officers of the Raj Bhawan also paid their tribute to the great poet on his birth anniversary.
